Since our last annual fundraiser in 2014, we have seen amazing progress in our campus development, staff and student numbers, and expanding our ministries.

We want to give you a little update of the last few years, as well as a glimpse into what’s ahead.

• In the last 12 months we have trained a record number of students!  With that, we sent out 24 outreach teams—the most we’ve sent in a year to nations such as Nepal, Germany, Fiji, Japan, and South Africa.

• Since last July alone, we have seen over 500 salvations as a result of our teams sharing the gospel in these places.

• We have 90 full time staff-more than ever before! See the photo above of our Annual Retreat from October 2016.

• We received a ship, the S/Y Ruach which is currently docked in Newcastle Harbour getting fitted out to take medical aid to Papua New Guinea!

• Youth Street is cranking into it’s 13th year as we continue to prioritise connection with the youth of Newcastle.

• The Cafe has grown tremendously in the last 3 years, with a lot of vision for more! We will highlight this in our upcoming posts.

• Since April 2014 we have purchased four new properties, one that is currently being re-developed.

As you can see from the stats above, God has done so much through your giving. We want to thank you for your previous contributions!

Now, in 2017, we believe He is challenging us as a community to Step Out into more.

The goal of this campaign is to increase the capacity and quality of our community facilities. These upgrades are important due to the increase in profile we are enjoying as a result of the introduction of YWAM Ships and taking on a vessel! The upgrades will increase local influence and help us multiply international workers allowing us to be more fruitful. Specifically, funds are required for a new commercial kitchen, cafe extension, and a new facade; all at our Hanbury Street campus.

The finances needed to complete the projects total $200k. For the next two weeks we are aiming for a minimum of $75k which will enable us to get started on these projects.

Warm Regards,
David Stephenson

P.S. We acknowledge you may desire to see fresh vision advance in your own life! Do you feel like you have dreams or vision that have been put on hold? Over the next two weeks, we will release devotional pieces within our communication and we will share principles that have encouraged our own hearts in the calling to step out.
