Being God’s Hands and Feet – Sports DTS Outreach

By YWAM Newcastle on May 16, 2013 in Discipleship Training Schools, Outreach

Our latest update from our Sports DTS Outreach team in Venezuela.
Our team has been blessed by God to be able to reach out to a country going through so many different struggles. This week we travelled to Barquisimeto, and our way of reaching out to people has been in the form of serving others. God has used our team to work hard through our actions. Zach and Hannah, along with the YWAM Myrtle Beach team had the opportunity to paint a drug and alcohol rehab centre in one of the local slums.

God has allowed our team to see so much fruit through our time in Maracay.

We ventured out and went door to door inviting people to dinner at the church. As a team we were able to serve them a hot meal for free and God allowed us to see the fruit of bringing the community together and there was a light among His people in the slum.

Through our team’s diligence to work hard to serve others, God was able to use us to show his compassion and mercy towards the people in the slums.

Next week will be packed with more mercy ministries as well as door to door and bus evangelism. Pray that God brings stability and peace to Venezuela!
