nepal Check out an excerpt from an email sent from our team leader, Evie, who is currently leading the Outdoors DTS on outreach in Nepal! Hello All, or should I say.. Namaste!? Firstly, Nepal is amazing! The people here are so open and so genuine. We have had a great first 2 weeks and only getting started. My team has preached the gospel, given testimonies, served the church of Nepal, already started to help doing church planting in villages, discipled and ran youth service and prayer meetings, prayed for and actually witnessed 2 healings happen! God is on a roll here in Nepal and we are so honoured to be used for his kingdom to bring people to Jesus! Things here have not been all easy, though. We’ve endured struggles already with sickness within the team, India visa issues, plans falling through.. but GOD has continued to make a way and everything everything everything has come through just say the Lord said it would! The team and I head off for East Nepal tomorrow! We will spend our remainder 2 weeks of Nepal in a place called “Ilam”. In Ilam we will mainly be doing village ministry. Going to the unreached people groups, doing church planting, discipling people by living life with them… Ultimately, showing the people of Ilam, Nepal the love of Jesus and that there is no other like Him. Please keep my team in your prayers! We travel to Ilam tomorrow, and it is a 22 hour bus ride there. We also need prayer in our team’s health. God is doing amazing, miraculous things already and we know he has way more in store for our team to be apart of! We have 2 weeks left in Nepal then we journey onward to Darjeeling, India! Please stand with us in prayer for these things as well as our ministry we will be doing within the next month and a half. Join with us in praying for this team of students and staff!!!
