Youth Street Parent Concert

We have come to the end of yet another quarter here in Newcastle. It has been such a fruitful season, and watching the change and growth in all of our Youth Street crew over these past months has been such a blessing. As we near the end of this term, we are having another Parent Concert. We are stoked to see all of the crew show up with their families. The aim of this night is, first and foremost, to honour our crew’s parents and really forge some lasting bonds and relationships with them. As the crew are obviously such a huge part of all our lives, we feel that it is really important to build relationships with their families as well.

A week from today, April 2, we are having the first Parent Concert of 2011! We are hoping to have an awesome turn out of crew families as the crew entertain for the evening! We have decided on a “freezer” theme as the night is also doubling as a fundraiser for the air conditioning system we hope to purchase for the facility. By next weekend, YWAM Newcastle will be all decked out in wintery decorations and the cafe will be boasting of slushees and thick shakes galore. We are so excited for this night of friendship, fellowship, family, and fun!
