Stand in Purity

I would like you to take some time to answer the following two questions:
1) Do you want your life to be GOOD?
2) Do you want your life to be GREAT?
If your answer to the last question is yes, I encourage you to store this article in your heart, to search for more and to apply it to your life!
How can One God be three persons?
This has always been hard for me to grasp, but someone explained it to me like this:
I come from a family with a mother, father, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and myself. So, there are 7 people, all have different names, but altogether we are 1 family, with one and the same last name. You could see the God family in a similar way; there is the Father, the Holy Spirit and Jesus. All together they are 1 family and they are called God!
This family NEVER fights with each other, NEVER get frustrated at each other, NEVER turn their back at each other, ALWAYS love each other, ALWAYS understand each other, they are ALWAYS on the same page with each other, their relationship is absolutely perfect!
The reason God created family, was for us to understand the God family! Relationship and family comes straight from the heart of the God family. It was in God’s original plan for us to experience that same perfect love within relationships and family. Unfortunately things worked out a bit different and there is a lot of damage in the world in this area. God never meant for our hearts to be broken and even though we live in this world, there is still hope!
So where to start?
Adam: a story for guys.
The first man God created was Adam (beginning of the Bible) and at some point God asked Adam to name all the animals, and while naming them, I believe Adam was looking for a helper! God said that He saw that, and it was not good for man to be alone (Adam was lonely). While Adam slept, God fashioned the woman and brought her to him. Proverbs 18:22 says: ‘He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favour from the Lord’. It’s pretty clear that God has given to the man the challenge to seeking out his wife. In this story we see that Adam did his part by looking and God did His part by bringing. So guys; don’t search and just pick, but walk very closely to God and hear Him on every detail!
Esther: a story for girls.
Esther lived an ordinary life. The King of her country, also the ruler of an empire, decided he wanted a wife. He ordered that the most beautiful women from all over the country be brought to his palace so that he could select a Queen from them. Esther was one of these women. When she arrived at the palace she had to wait for a whole year before she was presented to the King. During this year she was prepared, pampered and readied for being presented to the King. When Esther was finally presented to the King, he was very impressed with her – he chose her over all the other women to be his Queen. Girls; allow God – not the world – to fashion you so the Lord can present you to your husband! Psalm 37: 4 says, ‘delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart’. If it is the desire of your heart to be married one day, let God direct your steps! By making God your centre, He will prepare you and present you at the right time. God wants to write your love story, and it’s going to be so much better than if you tried to write it yourself.
If you feel like you have messed up already, I want to encourage you! We will never be able to rewrite our story, but God is able and He desires to do that for us! Psalm 18:24 says: ‘God rewrote the text of my life when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes.'(Message)
1 Corinthians 14:40 says, ‘let everything be done decently and in order.’ God will bring a man and a woman together at the right time. And until the right time arrives, there’s plenty of work to be done. It takes a few months to get to know someone really well, and you’ll want to spend that period of time with God, your first love. Have you spent as much time thinking about God as you have been thinking about ‘eligible’ guys or girls? Do you remember meeting someone new and being consumed with thoughts and daydreams about them? Well, if you have not enjoyed that kind of relationship with the Lord, it will be difficult for Him to do the work necessary to prepare you for your husband or wife. The Lord wants to be our first love, and that doesn’t happen until we have intimate fellowship with Him. He created us, loves us deeply, and desires us to know Him fully. He can’t be our first love if we focus all our emotional energy on another human. Once we wholeheartedly committed to God, He is able to direct our steps.
