Here is a progress update from our New Zealand outreach team from the All Generations DTS! Please keep praying for them as they finish in the coming weeks!
Greetings from the All Generations New Zealand Outreach Team! Our outreach started with two weeks in Auckland serving with the Laingholm Baptist Church, YWAM Auckland and the downtown Korean church. Projects included local ministry to the sick, widows and single moms. We helped with clean up, cooking and home repair. We also did street outreach and spent two days helping with the remodeling an outreach ministry to the handicapped.
On to Hamilton for the annual Parachute Christian Music Festival! We served on gate security and YWAM Newie also had an information tent where we spoke about Jesus and YWAM to 500 people as a team. Then on to Fielding where we served with the New Life church for two weeks. Activities included maintenance and repair work on the church and low income housing. We served at Family Camp for four days leading worship, kids church, and Jack delivered a sermon. Kel Steiner, the All Generations DTS leader, joined us the final weekend and delivered a fantastic sermon on “chicken Christians vs. Eagle Christians.
Then off to Ohope Beach for a week. We ministered to the combined Presbyterian Church and Ohope Christian Fellowship youth and the Holy Spirit fell all over the place on the kids! They prayed for each other and the team as well. Afterwards, we headed to Tauranga and stayed at the Impact World Tour YWAM base for their Holy Spirit Week. We also served at the Tauranga House of Prayer, dedicated to the unification of prayer, church and missions. We had several healings there. Amazing Holy Spirit atmosphere all week!
We are on our last 11 days in New Zealand and looking forward to more opportunities for healing and unity in the church and in the country – united under the Gospel of Christ, and filled with New Zeal and Fire!
